Heroes of Newerth

The keys are handed out.

Heroes of Newerth is a stand alone game branching from Defense of the Ancients, a popular Warcraft 3 modification. It’s currently in beta and being developed by S2Games, the people behind Savage and Savage 2. The game runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac.

I received an e-mail from S2Games yesterday, stating that they want to expand the test pool for the game, mainly for stress testing the servers, but also for feedback on the game itself. I have three (3) beta invitations to hand out to whoever wants one.

To receive one of the codes you simply write your e-mail adress in the comments below and I’ll send them to the three (3) appearing first.

Note: Heroes of Newerth is still in beta, and that means that you’re disclosed to following the NDA. S2Games has announced that “All participants in the HoN beta test now have express permission from S2 Games to communicate and discuss Heroes of Newerth publicly. This includes forum discussions and talking to friends and family. Our embargo on media relating to HoN (videos, screenshots) is still in full effect and we’d kindly ask our testers not to disclose any game related media to those not actively in the Heroes of Newerh Beta.”

Update: Heroes of Newerth

We just added 2 new heroes to the game, Wretched Hag & Succubis. Everyone should soon get a chance to play them as well as almost 50 total heroes very soon. We’re getting really close to sending out those 75,000 invites, so make sure you become a fan (Facebook) and get the update the moment we send it.
