Daily Sketch #19

It’s very sketchy, and uhm.. Strange? But another daily sketch it is!

I’ve been extremely lazy when it comes to doing a daily sketch the last weeks, I’m actually annoyed and angry at myself for that. Getting into, learning, getting better, becoming experienced and anything else related to drawing (and this kind of applies to anything else you want to become good at) takes A LOT of time and studying. So I am disappointed in myself when I say that I really haven’t had enough time for my exciting hobby as of lately, and I truly wish I would have since I like to doodle and draw. I want to become better, I should push myself when I get home from a long day at work and just sit down in front of my tablet. But oh well, enough about that.

The sketch I did today is pretty strange; lips, fingertip, tongue, warm summer. It’s in a very rough stage as of right now, I might pick it up and detail it (If I do I will post the process in this post). Well, it’s not called a sketch for nothing, but a sketch doesn’t have to be all blurry, abstract and not-fledged-out. Yet, my daily sketches seem to be rough and unfinished every single time, and I rarely pull them back out of the sketch folder to continue (maybe even finish, oh my) with. But that’s how it is, I feel I should publish it either way, whether you like that or not.

If you do have an opinion on something I publish on this blog, or anywhere else, please create a comment, a reply, or whatever you would prefer doing, and engage in the discussion. I enjoy feedback, it’s one of many ways to become a better artist, and person. Be it both negative and positive feedback, so please, just say something if you wish.

On another, somewhat unrelated, note; I’ll finally find out if the hash (#) before the text on a published post will have any effect on the automatic feed I send to my Twitter account from this blog. If it works it’s great, I can see a lot of nice uses for that.

Update: Hashtag in the title of the RSS-feeded blogpost didn’t seem to work, ah well! I’ll send off a notice to the guys over at Twitter Feed.
