New pose-sketch

Did a new sketch, again a posing female character.

Training my hand, basically, getting used to the feel of a digital tablet. I’ve found a great webpage for poses and drawing life, called Posemaniacs. Using one of the tools on the page allows you to really get your hands busy, drawing the pose in 30 seconds. I’m going to try that soon, will see how much I’ve learned from reading and trying out some poses/anatomy.

Female pose

Completely freehand without references, I’m proud of what I’ve managed this far. At least I know the basics of the humanoid shape, and am able to draw it farily quick without using the eraser too much. Used 20 minutes on this one, done in Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Bamboo tablet.
