Get more traffic
Small how-to on getting more traffic (visitors) to your blog.
Tired of seeing small visitor numbers to your blog? Feeling like your posts are worth a visit, but you’re not getting anyone to read your blog because it’s not rating high on the search engines? Well, I felt the same way about these questions myself and decided to look for solutions. I found two excellent providers, webpages that crawl through blogs in pretty much the same manner as you would switch channels on your TV, giving you a small preview of a blog before it goes on to another blog in the list.
So, who are those providers, and how do you get your blog known through them?
Alpha Inventions
Basically the same as what Condron is, it’s hard to explain the technology behind the crawler, but Cheru Jackson (the creator) has tried in this post.
- Head over to Alpha Inventions
- Wait for the “My Blog” field to load up
- Write your blog URL
- Choose category
- Click Validate, let it validate
- Click Notify Readers About My Blog
You can also buy a #AHD so your blog stays longer in the reading cycle, but a good tip is to add your blog to the cycle 2-3 times each day for the best outcome.
Condron
Small introduction from their webpage
- Give us a shout out! If you mention condron.us in one of your blog posts our surfing engine will automatically pick up your blog more frequently. Remember for best results the shout out must be in an actual blog post.
- Join the community. Our Forum is a great way to gain exposure for your blog and meet potential readers. Connect with bloggers and readers from around the world! Click the ‘Forum’ button to sign-up for free.
- Submit Your Blog. Submitting your blog to the Condron.us blogroll exposes your blog to a large number of potential readers every day. Adding your blog to a specific channel will increase your ability to reach your target audience.
- Head over to Condron
- Click Add Your Blog
- Fill in the information
- Click Submit
Another tip is to add your blog to several categories that it fits into, so that people who use RSS feeds for categories can check up on the subjects that you blog about.
Twitter
Tweet a link to your blog post on Twitter. If your post is inspirational, educational, informative or just a nice read, chances are high that other people may retweet (RT) your tweet and create a chain-reaction so a lot of people will be notified about your excellent post.
That should be it, you’ll probably start seeing an increase in the traffic to your blog pretty soon.
